    Dog Mom and Animal Lover

I have loved dogs since I was
a kid. Following 18 straight years of consecuative asking, my Mom let me adopt a dog from Toronto for graduating high school. Not knowing that would make the obsession grow. When the adoption lady said “are you sure you want a beagle as your first dog? They aren’t your typical dog.” I said “yes, how hard could it be?” Not knowing he'd be a stubborn, master escape artist, with the cutest face, I could never get mad at. Did I mention he smells like honey?

Five years later, silly me thought he was slowing down and needed a friend, so you know what comes next… Blue. A little, confident, spicy nugget. After two years of crazy puppies together, dog parks, coming to work with me in the landscape truck, Blue got attacked by a neighbours off leash unattended dog. Me being shocked and confused, we started working on his new personality trait.

Reactivity, I prayed to the universe please give me a way to help him, also being very thankful it didn’t rub off on happy-go-Lucky. I slowly learned that before he can feel safe I needed to fix my nervous system. Finally I began to see changes, realized we weren’t so powerless after all and could do everything we want to, with healing ourselves in the process.

I thought hey, if we can do that, why not help the planet, with leftover textiles and make some stylish bandanas. Use the college knowledge I learnt to make something for the pups and planet.

Now I am studying dog behaviour with plans to become a trainer and groomer in the near future.

    Tough Cookie Beabull from Niagara

Lucky needed a friend and the pack needed Blue. He’s got attitude to spare and is the empathetic
    protector of mama Jesse.

    What a cutie-patootie!
